Tedra Dobbs

I enjoy many sports and have coached and refereed many sports over the years. I have taught Waldorf physical education and movement classes for the past 11 years in the Los Angeles area. Before that I was the Athletic Director of a YMCA. I have taught "learn to swim" classes part time throughout teaching as well as lifeguarding skills. I am a teacher by trade and have coached basketball, gymnastics, volleyball, swimming and diving, and track and field. I also am a general math tutor for elementary school students and a violin instructor for beginning and intermediate players. I have played the violin for 27 years. I feel that all students learn best at their own pace and I am willing to spend the time with them and make sure they feel comfortable in what they are doing. I am a certified American Red Cross instructor for first aid and CPR/CPRO. I am also certified as a lifeguar and swim instructor through ARC. I give water safety classes and also lifeguard pool parties.
